Two of Madonna’s iconic cone bras sold at auction for a whopping $77,000. That’s right, some private bidder had that much money to just drop on some undergarments Madonna wore in the ’90s. Which got us thinking: Celebrity items go up for auction all the time (Lady Gaga bought a few Michael Jackson items at auction just this week) but it’s not always the pieces we want. Justin Bieber performed during the halftime of Canada’s Grey Cup this weekend in Toronto, but if you thought the pop star would get the love of his home country onstage, think again. Bieber’s show, which included renditions of “Boyfriend” and “Beauty and a Beat,” was thoroughly booed by the crowd. But don’t worry Biebs, you’re not the first famous person this has happened to. These other hatred-fueled performance should help the singer nurse his wounds.

Nicki Minaj released a video last night for the song “Freedom.” In it, she wears a crown of thorns, stands by an ark and has her face, eyes downturned in disappointment, superimposed on roiling clouds. If you didn’t catch the overt religious symbolism, she spells it out in the first line: “They’ll never thank me for openin’ doors/But they ain’t even thank Jesus when He died on the cross.”
