    London’s SBTRKT is purposefully mysterious. The moniker refers to the musical project of producer/DJ Aaron Jerome, who has been very vocal about not wanting to reveal to much about himself. So much so that the musician wears a mask onstage (sort of like Deadmau5). Still, though, we think you should at least know something about SBTRKT, even if it’s just the music.

    Pacific Air, a Los Angeles duo of brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhon, are one of those groups that you probably don’t know of yet but will hear a lot about in the coming months. The band, previously known as KOKO, is signed to Universal Republic Records and has released a select number of songs to great acclaim. So, basically, get on board now, because we think they’re going to be big in 2013.

Haze’s single, a personal re-imagining of Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet,” has not only caught the attention of music fans but also offered evidence that Haze has the skills to back up her buzz.
