The Cult Involved In Tour Bus Crash In Croatia

.The members of The Cult, currently on tour in Europe, were involved in a tour bus crash this week while traveling from Split, Croatia to Ljubijana, Slovenia. The band members suffered minor injuries but for the most part everyone is okay.
.Singer Ian Astbury, who suffered injuries to his neck, back and shoulder, said in a statement, “I was the only one awake. All of a sudden, the bus veered violently, hit the guard rail and tipped on a 45-degree angle, then righted itself and came to a halt. The guard rail was the only thing that prevented us from going over an 80-foot drop.”
.The bus was taken to a service station down the road and was able to be temporarily repaired so that the band could make it to their concert that evening. The bus was fully repaired the following day.

.Astbury added, “No one has had any sleep, so the guys are pretty beat, and we are still in shock, to be honest. You never think something like this is going to happen to you, and it just did.”
.The band will continue their current European tour, which wraps in mid-July, before heading to the States and Canada. Check out the full tour dates below:
