Vinyl Floor

Bio:

Vinyl Floor is a 3-piece rockband which hails from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band was formed in 2007 and consists of the two brothers Thomas Charlie Pedersen and Daniel Pedersen and the longtime friend and colleague Rasmus Bruun. The sound is very much their own but the style is primarily drawn from the melodic and energetic 60´s/70's and likewise from the edgy progressive rock of the 90's. The band combines symphonic and grandiose expression with the urge to write melodic songs, always non-compromising and exploring new frontiers.

Do You Still Dream:
The long awaited debut album Do You Still Dream was released in September 2009 and it features 13 songs, all capturing the melodic depth and distinctive atmosphere which characterizes the sound of Vinyl Floor. After the release of Do You Still Dream the band went to Japan and played 15 shows in Tokyo and area.

Peninsula:
In 2010 a 'song camp' began at the bands rehearsal space. New songs were written to what would become their second album. An EP, featuring four songs from the album, was released in 2011. Then in February 2012 the entire concept album entitled Peninsula was released by Karmanian Records. Peninsula was recorded in Sweden during the summer of 2011 at Studio Möllan with engineer and producer Emil Isaksson, the Vindla String Quartet and other Swedish musicians.
In March 2013 the band started working on their third album..
