    (english bio above) Créé en 1993 par les fondateurs du fanzine Abus Dangereux, le label Vicious Circle, fort de plus de 100 productions, s'est toujours distingué par des choix éclectiques et parfois surprenants. Artistes français mais également américains, norvégiens, suédois, allemands ou canadiens se croisent avec exigence. De Shannon Wright (Atlanta), exceptionnelle songwriter réputée pour ses albums et performances live denses en émotions (elle a également enregistré en 2004 un disque avec Yann Tiersen), à Tender Forever (Portland), electro/pop espiègle et inventive ; des monstrueux BellRays (Los Angeles) à Minor Majority (Oslo), folk limpide et raffinée venue du froid ; du hip-hop délirant des Puppetmastaz (Berlin) à la pop 80's de Kim (Bordeaux), incroyable multi-instrumentiste aux 18 albums ; Des ambiances noires et langoureuses d' Elysian Fields (New York) aux chansons délicates et insouciantes de Mansfield.TYA (Paris). Mais aussi Girls Against Boys, Radio 4, Calc, Julien Pras, The Ex, Denali, Julie Doiron, Men Without Pants, The Notwist, etc... La palette est donc large mais l'exigence de qualité toujours présente et l'envie intacte malgré une époque chahutée qui ne croit plus au disque. Et pourtant, Vicious Circle y croit toujours ; tout simplement parce que le disque est avant toute chose une oeuvre artistique, résultat d'un long travail, de choix et d'interrogations, expression d'un moment ou d'une époque de la vie d'un artiste. Vicious Circle est avide d'émotions partagées, d'éclats et de colères, d'amour et d'impatiences. Tous nos disques sont à écouter plusieurs fois pour en apprécier pleinement les saveurs. Certains demandent même un niveau sonore certain. Tous sont le reflet de notre passion. Vicious Circle allows to artists from France, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Canada, or from the USA to meet each other. From Shannon Wright (Atlanta), exceptional songwriter famous thanks to her albums and live shows which filled everyone with deep feelings (in 2004, she even registered an album with Yann Tiersen), to Tender Forever (Portland), mischievous and creative electro pop. From the amazing BellRays (Los Angeles) to Minor Majority (Oslo), perfect and sophisticated folk coming from a cold area. From the wild hip-hop of Puppetmastaz (Berlin) to th 80' pop of Kim (Bordeaux), incredible young man who can play many musical instruments and who has already released 18 albums. From the languid and dark mood of Elysian Fields (New-York) to the delicate and casual songs of Mansfield.TYA (Paris). But you can find Girls Against Boys, Radio 4, Calc, Julien Pras, The Ex, Julie Doiron, Men Without Pants, The Notwist, etc. as well. The range is varied but the requirement is always high and the desire remains the same despite of this hard time for the discs. However, Vicious Circle still believes in the record industry ; just because the disc is an artistic plan, the result of a hard job, of choices and questions, of the feelings of an artist during the time he completes it. Vicious Circle wants to share strong feelings, rage and madness, love and impatience. You should listen to Vicious Circle's records many times in order to enjoy them to the full. For some of them, it's even better to rise the sound to the top. All those records reflect our passions and feelings. Toujours à la recherche de nouveaux talent, francais et etrangers, Vicious Circle affiche sa volonté d'une politique éditioriale résolument basé sur la qualité, exigeante : qualités artistiques mais également scéniques, dans le rock, la pop, la folk, le hip-hop ou le dub...

Vicious Circle c'est aussi une boutique de disques (7 rue des Puits Clos, 31000 Toulouse) et également un fanzine : ABUS DANGEREUX.
