THH70 IS BACK IN LOS ANGELES!!
September 7, 2010
After leaving Dallas a week ago and driving 1500 miles in 39 hours, I am now back home in L.A.!!
It was an exhausting trip back, in addition to all the work setting up a new home & studio, but I'll be commencing work on some new pieces tomorrow! Some of these new pieces may or may not find their way into my upcoming show opening November 7th at Art Asylum Boston. More details on that show as it gets closer, but for all you readers of Juxtapoz Magazine, you should be seeing a nice advertisement for the exhibit in October or November's issue (I don't know which one yet).
A lot has been happening since I've been back: I've already met with several gallerists and curators, and it's looking like a show in L.A. should be happening fairly soon,
which I'm excited about since my last show in L.A. was at BLK/MRKT Gallery before I moved to Dallas.
I'm really looking forward to "re-introducing myself" to the L.A. art scene, considering my art has definitely progressed since I last exhibited here.
I also plan on FINALLY completing the revamp on my website, giving it a much more minimal, clean look (it's about 85% done). Expect to hear about that soon.
Until then, my current website, although outdated in terms of info still does have all my current & available work displayed…
as always, you can find it all over at WWW.THH70ONLINE.COM!
A little sidenote: my good friend Dan Goldman has his solo show opening this Saturday, September 11th at L2kontemporary Gallery, located in downtown Los Angeles.
I'm a huge fan of his work, and this new series of organic Contemporary pieces do not disappoint, so if you're going to be in L.A. this weekend, stop on by! I'll be there!
For a preview of the pieces in the show, check out L2kontemporary and a little video on YouTube
A big thank you to all my friends & collectors in Texas…it was an incredible pleasure to get to know you during my stay. I look forward to continuing our relationship!
I know I'll be back periodically to visit, although I don't think I'll be showing my work there for at least the next year or two…I miss you all!
