Pour la troisième année consécutive, ce sera l'occasion de rencontrer les groupes qui joueront au festival le lendemain autour d'un verre, dans un cadre convivial où la musique sera dédiée au pagan! Une soirée exceptionnelle pour commencer le week end en beauté avec la venue de Belenos qui fera la release de son double album !!
Une soirée doublement festive qui vous réservera pleins de bons moments!

Au programme:

- écoute du double album de Belenos: réédition de "L'ancien temps" (compilation de toutes les démos sorties à la fin des années '90 regroupées sur un double CD format digipack A5)

CERNUNNOS PAGAN FESTIVAL 6, in Paris (FRANCE) NEWS IN ENGLISH:Hello!

The Cernunnos Pagan Festival is unique in France with its traditional and folk groups but also with its metal pagan, a style inspired by traditional celtic, nordic or Eastern Europe music.
It is also a place where people meet, where a genuine medieval feast is held with its market, craftsman stalls (leather, jewellery, clothes, cutlery, horns, etc...), and various activities unfolding all day long. You will also find a Tavern where you will have typical medieval meal served.
This year no less than ten bands are scheduled to play on teh two stages of the Machine du Moulin Rouge and we have lots of surprises for you!!

BELENOS
The name Belenos comes from a Gallic god from the Celtic mygtholog. The band was formed in 1995 by Loïc Cellier. Their style is one of a kind in the Black Metal field: French lyrics, masculine chorus and folk guitars.

MENHIR
Formed on 1995, on Thuringe, Menhir is one of the major bands of the Viking metal scene. They are the rightful successors of Bathory. Their music is a journey back to the times of the mighty German warriors, subtly mixing black metal, epic atmospheres and clean vocals. they will play for the first time in France.

WAYLANDER
Formed in 1993 by the O’Hagan brothers, Waylander is considered as one of the founders of the folk/metal movement. The heavy riffs unite in the harmony of the traditional Irish music. Their venue at the Cernunnos was obvious. Even more after the issue of their last album “Kindred Spirits”, beware to you, trolls!

NYDVIND
Nydvind is a Parisian pagan metal band, which takes its inspiration from the Nordic countries, their vast white and frozen landscapes. The band is working on its 3rd album, “Seas of Oblivion”, which will be issued in 2013. This new milestone of the French pagan metal, will show a new face of Nydvind, more epic than ever.

BARBARIAN PIPE BAND
A kind of mutation between highlanders and half-naked troubadours, the Italians from Barbarian Pipe Band have been recreating for 8 years the medieval traditional music, mixing Breton, Scottish and Italian sounds, with only 3 bagpipes and 3 drums. After having played in a few European festivals, they come to narrate their stories at the Cernunnos 2013 !
