Dal 25 marzo, in territorio langarolo prenderà luogo Alba Goes Punk!, iniziativa atta a promuovere il punk, l'hardcore e i vari sottogeneri musicali che gravitano attorno a queste due subculture urbane: l'intento è promuovere un'attitudine anticonsumistica in pieno stile d.i.y. ed organizzare, permessi permettendo, un evento finale, a giugno 2011, all'aperto, nel cuore di Alba.
Le tappe di Alba Goes Punk! passeranno per il locale No Name No Problem (ex-Dinasty, ex-Heartland), in Borgata Tebbioni, 55/a, a Rivalta di La Morra (CN).
Ad aprire la serie di eventi, ci penseranno, proprio il 25 marzo, tre band fra la Granda ed il Torinese:
Ape Unit (www.myspace.com/apeunitcombo) -- powerviolence da Cuneo, con membri dei Septycal Gorge, Occhi Pesti, Blutarsky. Per amanti dei vecchi Napalm Death e dei mai troppo compianti Spazz.
Traminer Hardcore (www.myspace.com/traminerhc) -- hardcore-punk da Bra (CN), anarco-battagliero ed impegnato, con retrogusto di Sottopressione e scuola newyorkese dei primi 90s.
Jesus Cry Superstyle (www.myspace.com/jesuscrysuperstyle) -- da Torino, punk'n'roll dal sapore californiano, col grezzume ed il d-beat di scuola motorheadiana.
