The Schenker Brothers Still Rockin 2 Scorpions
Rudolf Schenker's (Scorpions) show was on August 16, 2010 at USANA Amp. in West Valley City,Utah. When I think of the Scorpions two things always come to mind. The screaching vocals of Klaus Meine,and those duo hipnotic axs of Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs.
In driving both to and from the show I refected on my past Scorpions adventures and instead of giving you a show review (as per norm). I will post a few personal thoughts of this iconic band.
I remember as a fan insisting to my parents that we hurry vacation to make the show. As I recall we made it back by a few hours until showtime. A show highlight for me was the catwalk that went over us fans in the shape of a flying V ax. That was the first time I had seen anything like that before. How sweet it was.
Fast forward a few years (about 5) later. The first time I had the oppertunity to shoot them. I remember singing as I clicked away. Aww good times !
In recent years in normal day life I have also refured to the scorps. A bissness associate asked me once what I knew about Germany he being from there. My reply was not much but that band the Scorpions sure can Rock. He laughed and told me his two sons were big fans of the group.
So it is clear to see this band at least in my case has been a influeance in my life as well as so many others. As talk of this being the farewell tour,we can only hope they give us one more oncore. What about it guys extend this tour for one more go around ?
