Hard Rock on Fat Tues Feb 16
Come out and celebrate Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday, Feb 16 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square. Filling in for Chuck will be Steve Delach from the Billy Price Band, and we'll also welcome Kyle Lawton from the Old E Allstars on guitar and sharing the mic with John. Should be a hot time. Just confirmed, we will be playing at pUNKapalooza, Steve "pUNK" Cunningham's annual all-day, all-night jamband blowout at Moondogs and its sister club Starlite Lounge on Saturday April 5, 2008. pUNK and I played this event the last two years with Sandoz and it is a blast. Starts early, lasts until 2 am or later. Continuous music starting at 2 pm. We play from 4:50 to 6:05, and yes, they do keep to the schedule. If you like jamming of all kinds, from classic Dead-style to funk to fusion to bluegrass to rootsy singer/songwriter music to everything in between, be there!

Let the good times roll
I just set up this MySpace page for the Second Line Mardi Gras All-Stars. This year is our 11th show. Not bad for a band that plays only once or twice a year. We'll have some help from the Accellerators Horns this time around. First up is acoustic duo Fonzarelli, then we come on for a long set, and finally turn the stage over to local funk powerhouse CK9 and the Old E All-Stars to close the night.
