    Formed in 1994 by vocalist Darren Hayes and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Jones, Brisbane, Australia’s ..Savage Garden.. was an international pop sensation, writing a series of global smash hits that have since become beloved classics of the genre. Within a few short months of their eponymous debut release, the group’s first single, “I Want You,” was garnering widespread national attention and went on to become the highest selling single by an Australian artist in 1996. They achieved true international stardom, however, with the release of “Truly Madly Deeply,” which was released in the United States in November 1997.
