    I believe that music, and the arts in general, are gifts meant to be shared, even if it's only to an audience of one. Quality music can motivate people, and help them focus on more than their everyday lives. Music can help you transcend. I also believe that the time has come for change, and the arts will be the crux of any kind of attempt at providing identity to people. I was classically trained on piano, trained on clarinet in my early teens, self-taught on other forms, and instruments;I started writing lyrics at 16, and first wrote music at 22. I have played with a number of people of different age groups. I am a songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, as well as vocalist.Some of the music here has been recorded with different people, and some of it I have tracked myself. I love Rock(and roll) the most, but can play almost any style, including Blues, Jazz, and New Age-Classical. The blogs I have on this web-site are more or less free-verse lyrics, mostly late AM ramblings-spaced, kind of-you might like them. I am also Blue Haze Rob on My Space; My site includes poetry, and other original lyrics.
