Rekesh Chauhan- "music is not my life, but my life is my music"
Branded as an explosive live performer amongst scores of audiences, having performed numerous solo performances in venues across UK, Europe and Asia, it is needless to say that Rekesh Chauhan encapsulates audiences with ease. With his early training in Indian Classical Music from his Father and Guru, Rajesh Chauhan, a distinguished descendant from Pandit Omakrnath Thakur Sangeet Sanmelan, he went on to study Western Classical Music with the Guildhall Music board of Music, within a few years it became apparent that Chauhan was about to situate a innovative fresh platform in the world of music.

Unifying a new style has made him a phenomenon amongst listeners as the breakthrough artist performs Indian Classical music on both the Piano and Guitar. Chauhan has performed with many respected artists. To name a few, Bollywood music director, Ravindra Jain, Mercury Prize award winner Talvin Singh, Swati Natekar (vocals on Nitin Sawhneys “Nadia”) and has supported acts including Jazz Pianist Zoe Rahman. In 2009 he was featured on the BBC Asian Network Friction show.

A Pianist, Guitarist, Songwriter, Recording artist, Producer, Composer and for every other medium imaginable, Chauhan’s repertoire is unbounded. His musical ability has allowed him to surpass cultural obstacles gaining him much recognition within the Classical community. His style is truly a testament for tomorrow’s sound.
