About me:

hello my name is Ray Stanton i am a musician in monterey ca. where i live with my wife who is a nurse i put some of my songs in the video section for you to listen to if you would like just click on the video's i also have a large amount of video clips of lots of bands.we have a son who lives with us while he goes to school and i have a daughter who lives in northern california with her husband Kenny my other daughter Michelle passed away when she was just 24 but she will always be in my heart and i don't want to go on to long writing about her loss but it has affected me every minute of everyday since she left. i love her more than i can say, i keep waiting for my heart to heal and play my music for my daughters spirit everyday and pray that we meet up again, maybe my tears will be dry by then and my heart will have healed, i will love her forever. I was lucky enough to have her live with me the last 5 yrs of her life but she developed mental illness so bad i quit playing music for 5 yrs trying to win a battle i had no chance of beating, she committed suicide july 17th 2005. I had to take a physical for carnival cruise ships to be able to go out and play music for them and when i was having it done the doctor discovered during the physical that i had a hole in the left side of my heart and he asked me if i know i had a hole in my heart and i told him that i didn't know that i had a hole in my heart but i did knew the day that it happened. i have posted pictures of my daughters Kendall and Michelle at some family functions. I posted some video's on my main page of myself and some great musician's check them out if you like, enjoy Ray PS Michelle's mother passed away a week before her birthday dec 23 2006 I suspect from a broken heart, she weighed 60 lbs when she died I pray that they are together again and this is the last sad posting i have to make for awhile and those of you that have been kind enough to express your sympathy towards us it has really touched us deeply thank you very much. I just added a picture of my brother when he was one of the bud light ladies if you can guess which one is my brother, i join a ship in long beach ca. april 1st no april fools that will go to cabo san lucas for the next 6 months i will try and check out my page on the ship enjoy the summer
