Maybe if the residents of the Gaza Strip didn't want the land the Jews GAVE THEM BACK 2 years ago to feel like a prison... they should stop attacking Israel unprovoked.
In addition... Dugard cannot verbally "attack" the US, European Union and Canada for the withdraw of funding. The Palestinian Authority accepts and supports Hamas. Hamas is a military and political entity that does not accept Israel's right to EXIST.
There no government or country that fundamentaly disagrees with Palestines right to EXIST. If there was a government or country who had the doctrine of not allowing Palestine or ANY Muslim nation to NOT EXIST... all funding would be pulled from that government also. All you have to do is cite the African militias and governments that began "ethnic cleansing" in the late 90's. The U.S., the European Nations, and the U.N. all withdrew funding of countries and governments like those in Somalia.
Furthermore the Palestinians cannot have their cake and eat it to. You cannot fight, insult, posture offensively, suicide bomb, verbally attack, and shun the nation of Israel... and then expect to them to keep up trade agreements and business relationships with your country.
If the Palestinians can't find away to succeed as a nation... how is that Israel's fault? If food is not getting to the Gaza Strip, that is lack of command and control by their Government, not the Israel Government.
Side Note* - if you want to talk about ethnic cleansing.... read a history book citing the actual cause, effects, and factors of the so-called Arab-Israeli war. The Arab nation started that conflict with the sole purpose of driving all Jews out the their territory. It wasn't until the Jews, facing what looked to be another holocaust, fought back with EXTREME prejudice. After two and a half years of determination, superior tactical movements, and a hardened fighting force... the Israels started to win the war and push their invaders BACK. These lands that were secured through a COUNTER-strike (not an offensive strike) are what have become the dissputed regions.
You can not blame a DEFENDING army for out-manuevering and destroying an inferior attacking force.
