Our page is dedicated and pays tribute to the memory of musician, poet and wild rover PHILIP LYNOTT and his band THIN LIZZY - the GREATEST hard rock band in the world & the BEST band to come out of IRELAND. Along with Brian Downey, Scott Gorham, Brian Robertson, Eric Bell, Gary Moore, Snowy White, John Sykes and Darren Wharton, PHIL LYNOTT traveled all over the planet playing LIZZY'S amazing songs, and recorded some of the best records in rock 'n' roll. Some of these LP's include: THIN LIZZY (1971), JAILBREAK (1976), BLACK ROSE (1979), RENEGADE (1982), FIGHTING (1975), VAGABONDS OF THE WESTERN WORLD (1973) & the seminal live album LIVE AND DANGEROUS (1978). PHILIP LYNOTT died tragically on January 4th, 1986 at the age of 36. He had much more to give, but his music lives on through the millions of fans around the world that love his work, and especially in Dublin, Ireland, and in the heart of his beloved mother Philomena Lynott.
