Pianiste-singer-composer. From Russia, from where she kept her maternal language, Olga MITROSHINA was born in Latvia, country where she lived during under the Soviet period (URSS), and it's historical political movement in 1989. There, she studied classical piano, before coming to France in 1999. After a long period of practising, for which she earned an official diploma, she sells her soul to the Blues, a big influence in all her artistic career. She sees no return to her classical background. She considers ''Music'', only with real ''roots''...her music with real roots ! .. A long experience as pianist – singer in her luxurious Hotel, where she invited many musicians, gave her a rich repertory of jazz, blues & soul songs, wherein she always puts an importance on her own personal interpretation. Today, living in Bordeaux since september 2008, she is developing her different projects with passion. .. Finally, Olga MITROSHINA presents her works as author – composer with this first album ''All Sensitive People'' 2009, where we can discover a singer very close to her musicians, sharing et mixing her voice with the sound of her group. She also gives a picture of her past with ''hidden tracks''...blues. But if you listen attentively, you hear this root that is so important to her. .. .. ''All Sensitive People'' goes from energetic songs like ''I'm moving on'' or ''It's Time''...to intimate and colored atmospheres with ''I hear music'' or ''l'Instant''. Those different colors become more and more intense with arrangements like ''On green dolphin street'', ''God Bless the child'' or ''One note samba'' .. ______________________________________ D'origine russe, de laquelle elle a gardé sa langue maternelle, Olga MITROSHINA est née en Lettonie, pays dans lequel elle a vécu la période Soviétique (URSS), ainsi que son historique changement politique en 1989. Elle y étudie le piano classique, avant de venir s'installer en France en 1999. Suite à cette longue période d'apprentissage, qui lui a apporté une reconnaissance officielle diplômante, elle "vend" son âme au blues, un style d'expression qui a toujours imprégné très fortement son parcours artistique. Une très longue formation sur le terrain en tant que pianiste chanteuse d'un Hotel 4*, dans lequel elle a invité une multitude de musiciens, lui a permis de s'enrichir d'un répertoire jazz, blues, soul, dans lequel elle a toujours privilégié une appropriation personnelle. (Monaco - Hotel de Paris, Luxembourg – Royal Hotel, Mulhouse – Hotel du Parc) Aujourd'hui, citoyenne de Bordeaux depuis septembre 2008, elle consacre sa vie à ses projets personnels, qu'elle mène avec passion. Parallelement avec les études qu'elle suit sur Bordeaux au Céfédem Aquitaine, et elle obtiens le DE Jazz en juin 2010. Enfin, Olga MITROSHINA nous présente son travail d'auteur compositeur avec ce premier album "All sensitive people" 2009, dans lequel nous découvrons une chanteuse très proche de ses musiciens, partageant et mêlant sa voix aux timbres de son groupe. Elle y laisse aussi une empreinte de son passé, sur des titres "cachés"...le blues. Mais c'est avec une écoute très attentive, que l'on entend cette racine qui lui est si chère. "All Sensitive People" 4-tet - compositions personnelles, standards réarrangés. Le projet gravé sur le CD:"All Sensitive People", a été enregistré en août 2009. Caractéristiques artistiques de ce projet : les compositions sont axées sur une rythmique plutôt groove, colorées d'une harmonie riche d'influence jazz. La majorité des thèmes, sont soigneusement arrangés pour la voix et le saxophone (tenor ou alto), tantôt à l'unisson, tantôt en contrepoint ou encore en harmonisation, tout comme certaines plages de solos.
