Heroes
I really don't have any heroes, those who serve our country, to keep us free, should be everyone's hero. It allows us to speak our minds, and protest against our government in a peaceful way. When our forefathers signed the declaration of independence, they knew they were signing their own death warrants. They envisioned a nation where government would not control every aspect of our lives, where innovation and self reliance would rule. Unfortunately, more and more, politicians think they know better than "we the people." Modern politicians, by their policies prove they have no faith in the people, that they {the politicians} are the solution to the problem. They are mocking those men, and women, who have died for this land. The next time you put a hero label on an athlete,musician,moviestar,ect...,stand up and applaud those men and women in all of our armed services are the true heroes.

LYNDA BURKETT If you take advantage of everything America has to offer, there’s nothing you can't accomplish.
Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.
There is nothing wrong with America that the faith, love of freedom, intelligence, and energy of her citizens cannot cure.

Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see the shadow.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Though Love be deeper, Friendship is more wide.
That is the best-to laugh with someone because you think the same things are funny.
The two most important things in life are good friends and a strong bull pen.
There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.
Man's best support is a very dear friend.
If I don't have friends, then I ain't nothing.
Life without a friend is death without a witness.
And we find at the end of a perfect day, The soul of a friend we've made.
Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods.
The great difference between voyages rests not in ships but in the people you meet on them.
Only solitary men know the full joys of friendship. Others have their family; but to a solitary and an exile his friends are everything.
It seems to me that trying to live without friends is like milking a bear to get cream for your morning coffee. It is a whole lot of trouble, and then not worth much after you get it.

Sunday Funny!
Hi Honey
I don't normally do these things, but I really liked this one because of the "EYES" analogy. It describes online friendship so well. I feel that you really can have a wonderful friendship with someone even though you've never met them.
It's different than other friendships, but I do love and care for my online friends!
If I happened to show up on your door step crying,
Would you Care?
If I called you and asked you to pick me up because something Happened,
Would you come?
If I had one day left, to live my life;
Would you be part of That last day?
If I needed a shoulder to cry on,
Would you give me Yours?
This is a test to see who your real friends are or if you are just someone to talk to you when they are bored
Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes? They blink together, they move together, they cry together, they see things together, and they sleep together,
But they never see each other; … that's what friendship is.
Your aspiration is your motivation, your motivation is your belief, Your Belief is your peace, your peace is your target, your target is heaven, and Life is like hard core torture without it .
It's ' World Best Friends Week. Who is your best friend? Send this to all Your good friends, even me, if I am one of them. See how many you get back.
If you get more than 3 then you really are a lovable person
