About Angie

Growing up in Detroit, I've been a hockey fan for as long as I can remember. When not checking in on the competition, I enjoy watching my Detroit Red Wings in the NHL and Toledo Walleye in the ECHL. I've been covering hockey and other sports for a variety of start-ups for several years and also cover the Walleye and minor-league hockey for Examiner.com and RedWingsGuy.com.

Interests

General
Sports! I love the Detroit Red Wings, Toledo Walleye, Michigan Wolverines and New England Patriots. Golly, I sure love hockey! Football's aces too. Hot dog! When the skates come off, I enjoy watching sports with friends, cooking and doing work around my house. I also love the snow, playing with my dogs and following my various teams on the road. While covering the NHL is a big focus, I also like to keep an eye on the minor leagues such as the American Hockey League and ECHL as both contain numerous talented players hungry for their shot in the big leagues. Additionally, I'll be covering college hockey, international play and other news from the hockey world.
