THE SYMPHONIC DREAM

LARS BOUTRUP RELEASING HIS SECOND SOLO ALBUM: THE SYMPHONIC DREAM

WORLD WIDE RELEASE 14TH OF APRIL 2011

The Symphonic Dream
“The Symphonic Dream“ contains 8 new instrumental compositions written by Lars Boutrup, in the style of classic prog rock and piano moods and crazy rock themes along with beautiful keyboard work mixed in a great texture.

Lars Boutrup
Over the years Lars Boutrup has played and worked with world wide bands like Simcess, Big Bang, Evil Masquerade and Supernova along with studio recording work and composed music and played to more than 200 hundred silent movie pictures in Denmark and Sweden.

In The Meantime
In between Music For Keyboards and The Symphonic Dream, Lars has recorded with Danish artists such as Baby Electric on their album: So Let´s Go and Cleemann on his album: 45 minutes almost about caring. Lars has also taken part in forming the new rock group Juruda Music and releasing their debut album “The Magic Queen”.

Personal: “The Symphonic Dream”
On his first solo effort “Music for Keyboards“, it was Lars Boutrup playing it all, together with Fredrik Sunesen on the drums. On the new album “The Symphonic Dream” Lars has added 2 guest musicians. They are both bass players; Andreas S. Jensen best known from A Wonderful Garden and the London based electro duo Funktuary and Niels W. Knudsen best know from the progressive metal rock band Xcentrik. Once again Fredrik Sunesen adds his great drumming and performance to “The Symphonic Dream”.

So sit back my friends and enjoy the samples from the upcoming "The Symphonic Dream”.

The music and dreams that never end!

MUSIC FOR KEYBOARDS
Keyboards, organ and synthesizers

The genres rock, classical music and movie drama.

If you are curious to know what this combination sounds like - Music for Keyboards is the album to check out.

The man behind the album is the keyboard player and composer Lars Boutrup. After years in the business with rock, silent movie music and classical music. Performance as well as composing, in all sorts of different constellelations. Lars Boutrup is now releasing his first solo album.

Music for Keyboards is an album with both beautiful numbers to reflect on and sense the universe to. There are also moments where you can have a laugh and freak out to funny synthesizer sounds and melodies. Sometimes it even gets a bit scary.

The album is mainly composed on keyboards, organ and synthesizers. But within this frame you will also find all sorts of elements from stringers and gongs to the sound of the ocean in stormy wheather. It´s different, it´s exiting and it´s something you simply need to hear.

The drums played by Fredrik Sunesen are supporting and adding to the unique heartbeat of Music for Keyboards. There are both groove, humour and depth in his play.

What unites all these element into a whole are Lars Boutrup ´s sense of harmony, a good tune and the love for each instrument. As well as his ability to lighten everything up just when you thought the sun would never shine again.

We hope you will check the album out and enjoy it. And if you do - perhaps even tell your friends and family about it.
