- Biography -

Melodic Power Metal was popular music in KOREA at one time.
But there were not any native bands in KOREA.
And it was just passing polularity.

At that time Sung-man Kang(Leader & Guitar) was very eager
to make the first melodic power metal band in KOREA.

He had been through trouble for several years
because of seeking for members.
Finally he met two guys,
Sung-wook Lee(Vocal,ex-VALANTH),
Min Song(Bass,ex-VALANTH) on Nov.2006.
And Woong-bum Lee(Ishtar, Seed) joined as a backup member.
Then they started working on the first album and having performances.

The band was named 'LEGEND'.

The beginning of 2007
they opened their demos(Death Knight, Dawn Of Empire) to the public.
And they got good response from people
who had a thirst for appearance of their home melodic metal band.
In the summer of that year
they were scheduled to participate in one rock festival in Germany
but the event was canceled.
After that time Sung-wook Lee and Woong-bum Lee decided to quit the band
and there was a gap of several months.

At the end of 2007 the band recruited two fellows,
Jae-hoon Lee(Vocal), Doo-won Jung(Drums,ex-D.M.O.T).
Jae-hoon Lee had been well-known on Internet websites
as clean & high tone voice like Michael Kiske(Ex-HELLOWEEN).
thereafter they continued their working on a album and performances.

In 2008 LEGEND started recording their first album in SONIC BOOM Studio.
As Joo-hyung Lee(Guitar,ex-Avantic Soul) joined LEGEND at the end of 2008
the band got line-up, and get an contract with EVOLUTION MUSIC.

Live performance was going on at the same time.
On May 2009 LEGEND also took part in HIBRIA LIVE in SEOUL
as a support band with METHOD, DOWNHELL.

On October 2009 LEGEND's first album 'THE LOST WORLD' was released.

Jay Lee quit the band after the show on Dec. 20th 2009.
