it finds an other way

Good morning Eva and motherjane. If you’ll allow me,

The instrumental demo of my upcoming album "Tales of a Life Beyond Me" will be ready at the end of the month and I will begin working with some local vocal talent for it then. I'm aiming for completion by September. I'm also working on recording three other standalone tunes with a local producer and spent some time in his studio last week with my friend and saxophonist Mike, laying the baritone sax part and tenor sax solo for an very cool hybrid jazz-inflected funk rock song of mine "Cough Syrup" and am working today on processing the drum tracks for my guitar-driven collaboration with Milt Gore, "Mönster". There’s much afoot and things are proceeding nicely. :-)

On a personal level, the semester is wrapping itself up, thankfully; I have two more weeks until finals. I am really looking forward to taking a break from school over the summer. As things stand I have four papers of various sizes due alongside those final tests and it’s admittedly stressful. I was in the hospital last Friday with what turned out to be cellulitis in my left elbow. It was eight unpleasant hours in the emergency room but I’m much better now.
