Il travaille nuit et jour sur des morceaux qu'il juge « monstrueux » ! ..On a tout le temps envie de danser ! .. Premier album électro pop du groupe éponyme, Mister Pop est plutôt inattendu dans le paysage musical Français, impossible de rester en place, ça bouge,ça vibre, ça change de rythme, ça surprend sans arrêt... Bref c'est une vraie réussite dans la composition et dans les textes, au final on obtient un petit bijou de l'électro pop... Mister Pop c'est Philippe Ferrer ex Tapage Nocturne (2 albums) et QUI (3 albums) au chant et à la guitare, c'est aussi le compositeur du groupe, Pristian aux synthés et Etrange Design aux platines et samplers et videos... Pour Philippe Ferrer c'est tout de même un 6ème album, et sans doute le plus personnel, même s'il s'agit bien d'un travail collectif. ..En revêtant le costume de Mister Pop, un clin d' œil à la célèbre marque « Monsieur Propre », il se lance dans des compositions électro pop sur lesquelles s'animent des textes en langue Française de Dominique Tomasi (ex QUI) et de Denis Parent... Mais Mister Pop, c'est aussi de la musique live, l'énergie délivrée par le trio est soutenue par des projections vidéos originales crées par des vidéastes de talents, notamment,Thomas Gabriel et Valérie Santarelli qui font eux aussi partis de l'aventure Mister Pop... L'univers particulier de Mister Pop utilise des ordinateurs comme des instruments de musique. Il s'inscrit dans une sorte de fusion des genres et des techniques « un mélange de musique électronique, de pop française, influencée par la musique punk new wave sur lequel se posent de grosses rythmiques saturées », explique le groupe...
