A SONG INSPIRED THIS POEM; HOPEFULLY TO KNOW SOMEONE ELSE FELT the PAIN; HOPEFULLY MY WORDS WILL HELP ONES HEART HEAL TO KNOW SOMEBODY ELSE TRUELY KNOWS HOW ONE FELT FOR THE SONG HAD SO MUCH PAIN THAT IT FLOODED MY EYES WITH TEARS


EVIL HAS STOLEN AN INNOCENCE
PERHAPS ONE WITHOUT A CONSCIENCE
CAUSING A CHILD'S WORLD TO BE DARK
LEAVING A CHILD'S HEART WITH A SCARRED MARK
FILLING A CHILD WITH BITTERNESS AND ANGER
LOSING ALL TRUST IN PEOPLE; SEEING THEM ALL AS A DANGER
NEVER BEING ABLE TO SEE THINGS CLEAR
UPON WHICH A CHILD IS ONLY FILLED WITH FEAR
HOLDING IT ALL IN WITH NO ONE TO TELL
MAKING A CHILD'S LIFE A LIVING HELL
IN SOCIETY A CHILD BECOMING WITHDRAWN
NO LONGER BEING ABLE TO SEE THE BEAUTY OF DAWN
A CHILD THAT NEEDS TO BE HEALED
AN EVIL TRUELY NEEDS TO BE REVEALED
TIME FOR A CHILD TO STOP FEELING PAIN
SURRENDER IT TO THE HEALING RAIN
DECIDING THE EVIL OF THAT SOMEONE
SHALL NO LONGER BE THE REASON FOR THE CHILD'S LIFE UNDONE
OH SWEET CHILD LET THE ANGER AND BITTERNESS GO
KNOWING THE ABUSER WILL REAP WHAT THEY SEW
OH SWEET CHILD DO NOT HOLD UNFORGIVENESS
BECAUSE OF AN ABUSER'S SICKNESS
OH SWEET CHILD DO NOT THE LET THE ABUSER DESTROY YOUR LIFE
IN THE END THE ABUSER WILL BE FILLED WITH STRIFE
OH SWEET CHILD DISCOVER IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT
IT WAS THE ABUSER THAT COMMITED THE ASSAULT
OH SWEET CHILD DO NOT WEAR THE ABUSER EVIL ON YOUR HEART AS A CHAIN
THE ABUSER WAS THE ONE THAT WAS INSANE
