Bio
All I am I owe to God. I became a Christian in 1982. I started writing songs in 1990 and quickly realized I needed to learn about song structure, etc., so I did a lot of research and the 2 books I found to be most helpful were The Craft of Lyric Writing and Successful Lyric Writing(both written by Sheila Davis). I mainly write Christian songs because the Bible says that the only things which will have eternal value are those things which have been done for JESUS. Obviously, the things which were done by Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and all of the old testament prophets and people in the name of YHWH will have eternal value too; however, after Jesus came to earth, He made it very clear that "He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him". Christianity is not the start of a new Religion; it is the continuation of Judaism. God bless, and God has blessed, Israel because through the Jewish people all the world has been blessed by the work which God has done on the cross by becoming the final sacrificial lamb and paying, in FULL, the penalty for our sins. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so that whoever looks upon it may live if they were bit by a snake; even so, must the Son of God be lifted up so that whoever looks upon the work of the cross and believes may have eternal life. My goal is to share my music with family, friends, churches, and, God willing, the world. -
