  I haven't written for a while. here is a few of many cool things that has happened at Knuckleheads some great artists have just been in the area and stoped by. last week during Tommy Castro's show Anthony Gomes came to just hang out at the club, Tommy called him up on stage and the magic started flowing 2 great artists on one stage. this has happen several times once with Bernard Allison came in and sit in with Harper, one time the Great Joe Ely stopped in to watch Sonny Landreth show how cool just to see Joe sitting around drinking a glass of wine and talking to the people. another time Wayne The Train Hancock did a Wed night gig and stayed over to catch Billy Joe Shaver's show. Billy saw Wayne and said Wayne is that you? Wayne said yes it is. Billy said get your butt up here and sing with me WOW! one night we had Commander Cody doing a gig, and the band War was in the house they mingled around and ended up in the retro room, is one of the best jams ever. another time Jason Eady was spotted sitting at a picnic table wearing this great big smile. looking at me and I don't know how long he had been in the club but it was sure great to see him he was just passing through and stoped by.Big George Brock stopped in and also sit in with Lazy Lester. Mike Zito has came by on at lease 2 or 3 occasion's and sit in with the Sat afternoon open Jam, it sure made the jammers happy. another time when Todd Snider played Will Kimbrough was also playing then Watermelon Slim and his band came in and started playing at midnight and Will sit in with them. he also sit in the whole show with Todd . when the one and only Johnny Rivers was here the night before his show Johnny and the whole band came down and we were doing the monthly KC Blues Society's open Jam Johnny's band set in and jammed,  they said they had a ball jamming. this is just a few of the surprise visits we get and I am sure the will be plenty more to come
