I created this website for obviously Kimberley Locke.Why her you may ask? Well, for many reasons really.Kimberley Locke is different from any other Idol-performance wise,personality,all around,etc. I believe I know most about her then any other Idol that has existed. She deserves an individual Myspace! But I believe my most important reason is because I have gone through ALOT in my life--My Grandma died very suddenly in 2006,my next door neighbor and best friend for 13 years had gone different ways, I suffered from anxiety attacks and stopped eating a couple of years ago,etc.In 2007, some bad things happened ,however I can not recall them. In 2008, my Mom and I were arguing about me going down to meet the American Idols early. After much arguing, she said "Do whatever you want....Whatever" and we hung up. She calls my cell that day and says "Where are you?". I told her I was at the venue and she said "I told you not to go down there...I told her you said "Whatever"..."she said "You know what katie, you ruined my anniversary dinner..Where did you park/how much?". I told her and she was like "I hope you don't get towed away"...then she hung up. She later apologized. In 2009, I had a VERY traumatic student teaching experience. It is quite hefty and because I don't want to go into details, I later got moved and it was so much better. But during my first two months, I struggled everyday and thought it was the end of the world when I got pulled out of the school. I ended up being successful. During that time, my Nana(Italian for Grandma) got a UTI and was hospitalized. She hasn't been in the hospital since my father was born. It was VERY scary.We spent our first Thanksgiving together without them which was VERY hard. Meanwhile, her husband, my Nono, can no longer walk due to nerve damage and is in a skilled nursing facility.He will never be able to come home and never walk again.He has accepted it but it is VERY difficult on all of us. Since then it went downhill--he no longer could talk on the phone, had oxygen, things hooked up to him so he could go to the bathroom in them, had mild dementia. He didnt want to live like that and at the end gave up eating and died of heart failure. The last time I saw him was Nov. 2009 and talked with him. In March of 2010, he passed away. As I am writing this, it has been over a month since he passed and it is still very hard to accept for he was always at home right up till September of 2009. This may not seem like alot to some people, but it is to me.Again, I am NOT asking for sympathy for that is NOT what I want. However, I know some people will give it to me, which is fine. All I want is for people to perhaps pray for me and my family if they wish and support this fansite and Kimberley. Kimberley got me through those rough times with her music and as a person! Without her music or her, I don't know how well I would've been able to adapt to the difficult situations I encountered.I am forever grateful and thankful for what she has done for me....I feel so blessed!I believe NOTHING I can ever do whether it is creating this site, making a photo t-shirt of her and me, a wall in my room dedicated to her,having pictures of us meeting in my wallet, creating a YouTube page just for her, and making videos for her on One True Media can ever live up to what she has done.Nomatter how much dedication,love, and support I can give her does NOT compare to what she has done for me in my life! No other Idol can compare to her! She is the BEST!She has made me into a better person if that is possible.I thank God for her everyday and pray for her and her family constantly. I feel VERY blessed to have her in my life musically and a person! I will always remember meeting her for the first time this past December 2007. It was seriously the BEST day of my life! She was different from all other Idols I have met in the past.She scanned the room for me, talked to me for 15 minutes, treated me like I was the ONLY person in the room,loved my gift I gave her, hugged me when I was crying when I met her,etc. NO other Idol has done what she did for me that night! I did meet her again in December of 2008. After watching her sing from the second row,have her wave to me,and look at me and smile during the finale, I was ready for the M&G. I will always remember her surprised look when she saw me in line waiting to meet her( her OMG!expression). She gave me a hug and talked to me about the fansite. She also noticed my broken left hand and wanted to know what happened.She said something that I will ALWAYS remember....it was quite funny. She also noticed my Kim & Me shirt that I had on and pointed to the pic when we first met last year. It was cool! Then she read the quote on the back out loud and asked if it was what she wrote in her message and I said "no". She signed the shirt and then I asked her for a hug. I went behind the table and we both did a "wrap our arms around each other/group" hug. It was SO cute :) Then she hugged me again and said "Merry Christmas sweetheart".It was awesome :)I can't wait to meet her again,maybe this year. I really can't put into words how special this video is for me. I want to personally thank you for doing what you do and being a superfan. This video comes a perfect time for me.
