He has sold over 95,000 CDs. Recently, October 2008, Leon Hendrix(Jimi Hendrix brother) has asked Kenny Wayne to become his guitar player & go on tour with Hendrix. Kenny Wayne was asked by Bob Seger's family to perform for their private birthday celebration, which he did this past summer!.... Kenny Wayne was born in Seattle Washington, U.S.A! He purchased his first guitar at age eight at a swap meet for $5.00 & has been playing ever since. Music is in his blood, he comes from a superb history of musicians.
