.. Jules was Born to ENTERTAIN!!!! Facing and triumphing over adversity early on Jules was born with a Hearing loss, Growing up in Central and Northern CALI, Jules lived and was musically influenced heavily by his father, who was a master musician of all genres of music , until his fathers untimely death at age 42... Jules was 15 years old. after his fathers death Jules was bounced around from group home to group home for 2 1/2 years until jules mother was located and finally recieved custody just 6 monthes shy of his 18th bday. .......yada yada yada....In Kindergarten Jules begged teachers to let him perform in the school talent show, However the rules stated the talent show was for 1st-6th graders only but after breaking out into the latest schoolyard anthem Jules finally convinced his teacher to let him enter the contest , Jules entered from the back of the cafeteria, got on stage, sang and dance his heart out and to everyones surprise? won....Thank You GOD . From then on Jules knew his purpose was to "ENTERTAIN". Involved in various church performing arts groups, school choirs from elementary thru College. Dance Cheoreography and production, Community Theatre- 7 seasons as a castmember of David L MacDonalds "Best of Broadway" also co-created and performed in a Boy Band "U-N-I" (Uniting New Ideas). performing all over the Sacramento and Northern Cali area. In 1998 Jules landed his first professional Theatre gig "GODSPELL" which went on to win a"Best Ensemble" Award at the Bay Area Critics Awards in S.F. California. ..In 2001 Jules decided to make my dream a reality. It has been a rollercoaster thats for sure. Jules showed up in LA on a greyhound bus, from the Golden States Capitol City , SACRAMENTO with $300 in his pocket and a job lined up with Disney, so he thought.....the job fell through and the money ran out with the quickness. Jules knew not a soul, but FAITH was his best friend. He asked for guidance from G-O-D... and found peace from the pain in a homeless shelter with an oranization caled P.A.T.H (People Assisting The Homeless) . He was able to stay in the city of Angels and follow his PATH. THANK YOU GOD!.. ..Jules started his road to Reality by making the top 25 in LA's leg of auditions for the WB's "POPSTARS 2" and also began working background in TV & Film. working on Hits shows such as "Will & Grace", "Just Shoot me", "ER" and after being in LA for mere monthes Jules performed the National Anthem many times for the NBA Championship LA LAKERS , appeared on 7 episodes of MTV's "Say what?KARAOKE" and was a Storyteller on MTVs short lived gameshow "Who knows the band?" Hosted by LA's 1 Rock Stations KROQ's DJ STRYKER....All while living in a homeless shelter. by the grace of GOD and hard work Jules was able to save some DINERO and move into an apartment... ..In April of 2002 Jules was actually the first person in "American Idol"History to recieve a GOLDEN TICKET and hear those 4 magic words...."YOUR GOING TO HOLLYWOOD". Jules ended up making the top 50 the first season, Show producers (NIGEL I FORGIVE YOU) attempted to humiliate Jules but being the "FOX" that he is, Jules knew the game and ended up being featured on the show. and provided one of the shows most memorable scenes, The "FIGHT WITH THE JUDGES". that scene was voted on by the American Idol fans as the best fight with the Judges and was included on the "American Idol Search for a Superstar" DVD Bonus feature, "When Judges Attack" . During American Idol Season 3, Jules was A featured Character dancer in 2 American Idol Ford Focus Music Videos with Fantasia, Diana Jasmine,George and LaToya .... ..} The Only former contestant to do so!! Jules says "I have been close yet seem so far from achieving my goals. Now I claim to be UNREJECTED".......................... Since American Idol season 1 Jules has been blessed to have worked with Grammy Award winning producers and songwriters -Michael J. Mani (Carlos Santana) Carmen Grillo(Tower of Power) -Orlando Sanchez(Az Yet) - Andreas Carlsson (NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Brittney Spears, Celine Dion) Bill Champlin (CHICAGO) and Richard J. Rudoloph (Minnie Ripperton, Teena Marie, Boys II Men). Jules was then a contestant and won on the History Making, ground breaking Gameshow "Street Smarts-The Musical", which was the first syndicated show to film an entire Game as a musical, Later Jules would go on to be a contestant and win on UPN's "Dance 360" Hosted by Fredro Starr and Kel Mitchell...wohoooo :p in 2004/05 Jules co-starred with 80's TV Star Clifton Davis (AMEN) and Gospel recording artist Shirley Murdock in the National tour, DVD and soundtrack for the Gospel Musical.. "Tell Hell I aint commin". .... Recently Jules finished a mini-tour of the First Hip Hop Gospel Play "Uncle Willys Family" with Master P- Romeo-Silkk the Shocker visit www.UncleWilly.com Jules was allso featured on "So you think you can dance? season 2" "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and the TYRA BANKS TALK SHOW "Paparazzi, Behind the lens".......................................................................................................................
