  • Bio

.. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile Generator.. ..Emotive and intelligent electro-techno is the main flavour with a side parting of the 1980's coiffured in for good measure. Whilst John's affiliation with Inverted Light Source reveals his origins in Techno, remaining faithful to one particular sphere of sound remains an issue and is frequently found ricochetting into ambient, pop, house and even jazz (nice!). Back in the halcyon 90's, John was DJ'ing and part of Futurelife promotions, alongside the likes of Charlie Hall (Drum Club) and Tom Harding. In 1998, Indie label Warehouse released John's inaugural vinyl pressing "Sand"- a dark techno stompathon - look out for soundbites of this and other trax coming up. Since then he's played at the Blue Mountain with DMX Crew and is occasionally seen burning the ole oil at the Black Swan with Inverted Light Source. Nights in Bristol continue with VinylMatt's "It's a love thing" where the soundbase is diverse but off-kilter. He and Vinyl Matt are sourcing some new venues in the west to showcase new material and to make the majority question what they hear!
