    Romans 11

Romans 11 1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there

  17. Jason Ridgeway

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Wherefore,if GOD so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you?

It is not enough to have a mediocre relationship with GOD, our obedience is required. There is so many benefits for giving GOD 1ST place over our time, talents and resources (2 Timothy 3:16, 17); not just here on Earth, but Eternity to come. We need to stop being imitators of society and be imitators of Jesus Christ. Our sins can take us down the road of destruction if we do nothing about them. Repent (turn totally away) from sin. Be baptized in The Name of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully study, apply and obey The WORD of GOD, no matter what others are saying or doing. FATHER GOD, in The Name of Jesus Christ, we come before YOU thankful for life this day YOU have made. Please have mercy on us and forgive us of our sins, as we forgive those who sin against. Help us not to reward evil for evil, lose our characters when we are wronged, or do anything that may cause us to harm another in action or words. Give us understanding and clear guidance as we prayerfully study YOUR WORD. Protect our minds as we stop entertaining violence, drug use, greed, sex outside marriage, lust and homosexuality. If we may be in bondage of any sin, break the yokes of those sins as we meditate, apply and obey what YOUR WORD says. Give us the wisdom we need to properly manage our time and resources, the way YOU want us to. We cannot do this without YOUR Help.

Is it the Will of GOD for you to say what you say, do what you do, be in a relationship with those who you are in a relationship with? What are you doing daily to seek out why you were created? If you were to die today, where would you go? Check yourself, erase and replace for tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Our actions and words have consequences and will be judged accordingly. Prayerfully study, apply and obey The WORD of GOD, no matter what others are saying or doing. Deliverance and restoration can happen, if we can give GOD 1st place over our time and resources. FATHER GOD, in The Name of JESUS CHRIST, we come before YOU thankful for life this day YOU have made. Please have mercy on us and forgive us of our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Through YOUR WORD bring understanding and guidance to those of us who are being deceived by opinions and philosophies of man. Help us to do inventory of our actions and turn from entertaining anyone or thing that will led us out of YOUR Will. Speak to our minds and hearts as we acknowledge YOU in all that we do. We need YOU in every way, to be who YOU want us to be, and to have what YOU want us to have.

There is a reason why sin leaves you feeling ashamed, broken, drained and empty. We were not created to do anything outside The Will of GOD. HIS WORD is a guide to help us to stay away from those things that will harm us, and to help us to lead us to living a purpose driven life. We need to daily do inventory and remove associations and things that will draw us to sin against GOD. We all want answered prayers and GOD’S Benefits but are we keeping ourselves pure and blameless before HIM? We need to stop following those who promote violence, greed, lust, drug use, alcoholism, homosexuality, sex outside marriage and everything else that are against the purpose GOD has created us for. Repent (turn totally away) from sin. Be baptized in The Name of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully study, apply and obey The Word of GOD, no matter what others are saying or doing. FATHER GOD, in The Name of Jesus Christ, we thank YOU for another day. Please have mercy on us and forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Help us to break the bondage of any sin that we have made priority in our lives. Give us strength as we obey and apply YOUR Word to every part of our lives, so we can live according to YOUR Purpose. We cannot do it without YOU.

1BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God's revealed will). 2Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart. 3Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts]; they walk in His ways. 4You have commanded us to keep Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently. 5Oh, that my ways were directed and established to observe Your statutes [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]! 6Then shall I not be put to shame [by failing to inherit Your promises] when I have respect to all Your commandments. 7I will praise and give thanks to You with uprightness of heart when I learn [by sanctified experiences] Your righteous judgments [Your decisions against and punishments for particular lines of thought and conduct]. 8I will keep Your statutes; O forsake me not utterly. 9How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it]. 10With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments. 11Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. 12Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes. 13With my lips have I declared and recounted all the ordinances of Your mouth. 14I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches. 15I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways [the paths of life marked out by Your law]. 16I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. 17Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live; and I will observe Your word [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. 18Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law. 19I am a stranger and a temporary resident on the earth; hide not Your commandments from me. 20My heart is breaking with the longing that it has for Your ordinances and judgments at all times. 21You rebuke the proud and arrogant, the accursed ones, who err and wander from Your commandments. 22Take away from me reproach and contempt, for I keep Your testimonies. 23Princes also sat and talked against me, but Your servant meditated on Your statutes. 24Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. 25My earthly life cleaves to the dust; revive and stimulate me according to Your word! 26I have declared my ways and opened my griefs to You, and You listened to me; teach me Your statutes. 27Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on and talk of Your wondrous works. 28My life dissolves and weeps itself away for heaviness; raise me up and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word. 29Remove from me the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness [to You], and graciously impart Your law to me. 30I have chosen the way of truth and faithfulness; Your ordinances have I set before me. 31I cleave to Your testimonies; O Lord, put me not to shame! 32I will [not merely walk, but] run the way of Your commandments, when You give me a heart that is willing. 33Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end [steadfastly]. 34Give me understanding, that I may keep Your law; yes, I will observe it with my whole heart. 35Make me go in the path of Your commandments, for in them do I delight. 36Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetousness (robbery, sensuality, unworthy riches). 37Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity (idols and idolatry); and restore me to vigorous life and health in Your ways. 38Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant, which is for those who reverently fear and devotedly worship You. 39Turn away my reproach which I fear and dread, for Your ordinances are good. 40Behold, I long for Your precepts; in Your righteousness give me renewed life. 41Let Your mercy and loving-kindness come also to me, O Lord, even Your salvation according to Your promise; 42Then shall I have an answer for those who taunt and reproach me, for I lean on, rely on, and trust in Your word. 43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I hope in Your ordinances. 44I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. 45And I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for [and desperately required] Your precepts. 46I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings and will not be put to shame. 47For I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love. 48My hands also will I lift up [in fervent supplication] to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes. 49Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope. 50This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life. 51The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet have I not declined in my interest in or turned aside from Your law. 52When I have [earnestly] recalled Your ordinances from of old, O Lord, I have taken comfort. 53Burning indignation, terror, and sadness seize upon me because of the wicked, who forsake Your law. 54Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. 55I have [earnestly] remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night, and I have observed Your law. 56This I have had [as the gift of Your grace and as my reward]: that I have kept Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 57You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to keep Your words. 58I entreated Your favor with my whole heart; be merciful and gracious to me according to Your promise. 59I considered my ways; I turned my feet to [obey] Your testimonies. 60I made haste and delayed not to keep Your commandments. 61Though the cords of the wicked have enclosed and ensnared me, I have not forgotten Your law. 62At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You because of Your righteous ordinances. 63I am a companion of all those who fear, revere, and worship You, and of those who observe and give heed to Your precepts. 64The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy and loving-kindness; teach me Your statutes. 65You have dealt well with Your servant, O Lord, according to Your promise. 66Teach me good judgment, wise and right discernment, and knowledge, for I have believed (trusted, relied on, and clung to) Your commandments. 67Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now Your word do I keep [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. 68You are good and kind and do good; teach me Your statutes. 69The arrogant and godless have put together a lie against me, but I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart. 70Their hearts are as fat as grease [their minds are dull and brutal], but I delight in Your law. 71It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes. 72The law from Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces. 73Your hands have made me, cunningly fashioned and established me; give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments. 74Those who reverently and worshipfully fear You will see me and be glad, because I have hoped in Your word and tarried for it. 75I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right and righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me 76Let, I pray You, Your merciful kindness and steadfast love be for my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant. 77Let Your tender mercy and loving-kindness come to me that I may live, for Your law is my delight! 78Let the proud be put to shame, for they dealt perversely with me without a cause; but I will meditate on Your precepts. 79Let those who reverently and worshipfully fear You turn to me, and those who have known Your testimonies. 80Let my heart be sound (sincere and wholehearted and blameless) in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame. 81My soul languishes and grows faint for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word. 82My eyes fail, watching for [the fulfillment of] Your promise. I say, When will You comfort me? 83For I have become like a bottle [a wineskin blackened and shriveled] in the smoke [in which it hangs], yet do I not forget Your statutes. 84How many are the days of Your servant [which he must endure]? When will You judge those who pursue and persecute me? 85The godless and arrogant have dug pitfalls for me, men who do not conform to Your law. 86All Your commandments are faithful and sure. [The godless] pursue and persecute me with falsehood; help me [Lord]! 87They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I forsook not Your precepts. 88According to Your steadfast love give life to me; then I will keep the testimony of Your mouth [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. 89Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens]. 90Your faithfulness is from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands fast. 91All [the whole universe] are Your servants; therefore they continue this day according to Your ordinances. 92Unless Your law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93I will never forget Your precepts, [how can I?] for it is by them You have quickened me (granted me life). 94I am Yours, therefore save me [Your own]; for I have sought (inquired of and for) Your precepts and required them [as my urgent need]. 95The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider Your testimonies. 96I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. 97Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day. 98You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies, for [Your words] are ever before me. 99I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers, because Your testimonies are my meditation. 100I understand more than the aged, because I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 101I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Your word [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. 102I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, for You Yourself have taught me. 103How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. 105Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106I have sworn [an oath] and have confirmed it, that I will keep Your righteous ordinances [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 107I am sorely afflicted; renew and quicken me [give me life], O Lord, according to Your word! 108Accept, I beseech You, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me Your ordinances. 109My life is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget Your law. 110The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I do not stray from Your precepts. 111Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 112I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, even to the end. 113I hate the thoughts of undecided [in religion], double-minded people, but Your law do I love. 114You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. 115Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 116Uphold me according to Your promise, that I may live; and let me not be put to shame in my hope! 117Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for Your statutes continually! 118You spurn and set at nought all those who stray from Your statutes, for their own lying deceives them and their tricks are in vain. 119You put away and count as dross all the wicked of the earth [for there is no true metal in them]; therefore I love Your testimonies. 120My flesh trembles and shudders for fear and reverential, worshipful awe of You, and I am afraid and in dread of Your judgments. 121I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to those who would oppress me. 122Be surety for Your servant for good [as Judah was surety for the safety of Benjamin]; let not the proud oppress me. 123My eyes fail, watching for Your salvation and for the fulfillment of Your righteous promise. 124Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy and loving-kindness, and teach me Your statutes. 125I am Your servant; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension), that I may know (discern and be familiar with the character of) Your testimonies. 126It is time for the Lord to act; they have frustrated Your law. 127Therefore I love Your commandments more than [resplendent] gold, yes, more than [perfectly] refined gold. 128Therefore I esteem as right all, yes, all Your precepts; I hate every false way. 129Your testimonies are wonderful [far exceeding anything conceived by man]; therefore my [penitent] self keeps them [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 130The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple. 131I opened my mouth and panted [with eager desire], for I longed for Your commandments. 132Look upon me, be merciful unto me, and show me favor, as is Your way to those who love Your name. 133Establish my steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over me. 134Deliver me from the oppression of man; so will I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 135Make Your face shine [with pleasure] upon Your servant, and teach me Your statutes. 136Streams of water run down my eyes, because men do not keep Your law [they hear it not, nor receive it, love it, or obey it]. 137[Rigidly] righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments and all expressions of Your will. 138You have commanded and appointed Your testimonies in righteousness and in great faithfulness. 139My zeal has consumed me and cut me off, because my adversaries have forgotten Your words. 140Your word is very pure (tried and well refined); therefore Your servant loves it. 141I am small (insignificant) and despised, but I do not forget Your precepts. 142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth. 143Trouble and anguish have found and taken hold on me, yet Your commandments are my delight. 144Your righteous testimonies are everlasting and Your decrees are binding to eternity; give me understanding and I shall live [give me discernment and comprehension and I shall not die]. 145I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord; I will keep Your statutes [I will hear, receive, love, and obey them]. 146I cried to You; save me, that I may keep Your testimonies [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. 147I anticipated the dawning of the morning and cried [in childlike prayer]; I hoped in Your word. 148My eyes anticipate the night watches and I am awake before the cry of the watchman, that I may meditate on Your word. 149Hear my voice according to Your steadfast love; O Lord, quicken me and give me life according to Your [righteous] decrees. 150They draw near who follow after wrong thinking and persecute me with wickedness; they are far from Your law. 151You are near, O Lord [nearer to me than my foes], and all Your commandments are truth. 152Of old have I known Your testimonies, and for a long time, [therefore it is a thoroughly established conviction] that You have founded them forever.(AH) 153Consider my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget Your law. 154Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me and give me life according to Your word. 155Salvation is far from the wicked, for they seek not nor hunger for Your statutes. 156Great are Your tender mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord; give me life according to Your ordinances. 157Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, yet I do not swerve from Your testimonies. 158I behold the treacherous and am grieved and loathe them, because they do not respect Your law [neither hearing, receiving, loving, nor obeying it]. 159Consider how I love Your precepts; revive me and give life to me, O Lord, according to Your loving-kindness! 160The sum of Your word is truth [the total of the full meaning of all Your individual precepts]; and every one of Your righteous decrees endures forever. 161Princes pursue and persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of Your words [dreading violation of them far more than the force of prince or potentate].(AI) 162I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great spoil. 163I hate and abhor falsehood, but Your law do I love. 164Seven times a day and all day long do I praise You because of Your righteous decrees. 165Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.(AJ) 166I am hoping and waiting [eagerly] for Your salvation, O Lord, and I do Your commandments.(AK) 167Your testimonies have I kept [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]; I love them exceedingly! 168I have observed Your precepts and Your testimonies, for all my ways are [fully known] before You. 169Let my mournful cry and supplication come [near] before You, O Lord; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension) according to Your word [of assurance and promise]. 170Let my supplication come before You; deliver me according to Your word! 171My lips shall pour forth praise [with thanksgiving and renewed trust] when You teach me Your statutes. 172My tongue shall sing [praise for the fulfillment] of Your word, for all Your commandments are righteous. 173Let Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts. 174I have longed for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight. 175Let me live that I may praise You, and let Your decrees help me. 176I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek, inquire for, and demand Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments.

Psalms 27:4-14 The one thing I want from God, The thing I seek most of all, is the privilege of meditating in His temple, living in His presence every day of my life, delighting in His incomparable perfections and glory. There I 'll be when trouble comes!. He will hide me. He will set me on a high rock. Out of the reach of all my enemies. Then I will bring Him sacrifices and sing His praises with much joy. Listen to my pleading Lord! Be merciful and send the help I need. My heart has heard You say, "Come and talk with me, O my people." And my heart responds "Lord, I am coming." Oh, do not hide Yourself when I am trying to find You. Do not angrily reject Your servant! You have been my help in all my trials before; don't leave me now. Don't forsake me, O God f my salvation. For if my father and mother should abandon me, You would welcome and comfort me. Tell me what to do, O Lord, and make it plain because I am surrounded by waiting enemies. Don't let them get me, Lord! Don't let me fall into their hands! For they accuse me of things I never did, and all the while are plotting cruelty. I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again so that once again I will see His goodness to me here in the land of the living! Don't be impatient! Wait for the Lord, and He will come and Save you! Be brave, stout-hearted(sturdy, courageous) and courageous. Yes, wait and He will help you.

1 Peter3:10For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good--whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery, deceit).11Let him turn away from wickedness and shun it, and let him do right. Let him search for peace (harmony; undisturbedness from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts) and seek it eagerly. [Do not merely desire peaceful relations with God, with your fellowmen, and with yourself, but pursue, go after them!]12For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil [to oppose them, to frustrate, and defeat them]. 13Now who is there to hurt you if you are zealous followers of that which is good?14But even in case you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, [you are] blessed (happy, to be envied). Do not dread or be afraid of their threats, nor be disturbed [by their opposition].15But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.16[And see to it that] your conscience is entirely clear ([e]unimpaired), so that, when you are falsely accused as evildoers, those who threaten you abusively and revile your right behavior in Christ may come to be ashamed [of slandering your good lives].17For [it is] better to suffer [unjustly] for doing right, if that should be God's will, than to suffer [justly] for doing wrong. 18For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit, Stay blessed my friend 1!

1SEEING THE crowds, He went up on the mountain; and when He was seated, His disciples came to Him. 2Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: 3Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven! 4Blessed and enviably happy [with a happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His matchless grace] are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted! 5Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, spiritually prosperous with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient, long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth! 6Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied! 7Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy! 8Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous--possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God 9Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous-with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God! 10Blessed and happy and enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven! 11Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of your outward conditions) are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on My account. 12Be glad and supremely joyful, for your reward in heaven is great (strong and intense), for in this same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you. [II Chron. 36:16.] 13You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. 14You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. 17Do not think that I have come to do away with or undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfill them. 18For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from the Law until all things [it foreshadows] are accomplished. 19Whoever then breaks or does away with or relaxes one of the least [important] of these commandments and teaches men so shall be called least [important] in the kingdom of heaven, but he who practices them and teaches others to do so shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness (your uprightness and your right standing with God) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 21You have heard that it was said to the men of old, You shall not kill, and whoever kills shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court. 22But I say to you that everyone who continues to be [ad]angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You cursed fool! [You empty-headed idiot!] shall be liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire. 23So if when you are offering your gift at the altar you there remember that your brother has any [grievance] against you, 24Leave your gift at the altar and go. First make peace with your brother, and then come back and present your gift. 25Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are on the way traveling with him, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26Truly I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last fraction of a penny. 27You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. 28But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell (Gehenna). 30And if your right hand serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your entire body should be cast into hell (Gehenna). 31It has also been said, Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. 32But I tell you, Whoever dismisses and repudiates and divorces his wife, except on the grounds of unfaithfulness (sexual immorality), causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery.(G) 33Again, you have heard that it was said to the men of old, You shall not swear falsely, but you shall perform your oaths to the Lord [as a religious duty]. 34But I tell you, Do not bind yourselves by an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is the throne of God; 35Or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.(H) 36And do not swear by your head, for you are not able to make a single hair white or black. 37Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the evil one.(I) 38You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.(J) 39But I say to you, Do not resist the evil man [who injures you]; but if anyone strikes you on the right jaw or cheek, turn to him the other one too. 40And if anyone wants to sue you and take your undershirt (tunic), let him have your coat also. 41And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two [miles]. 42Give to him who keeps on begging from you, and do not turn away from him who would borrow [[ai]at interest] from you.(K) 43You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy;(L) 44But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (M) 45[aj]To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike]. 46For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that? 47And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that? 48You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete [ak]maturity of godliness in mind and character, [al]having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.(N) 1TAKE CARE not to do your good deeds publicly or before men, in order to be seen by them; otherwise you will have no reward [[a]reserved for and awaiting you] with and from your Father Who is in heaven. 2Thus, whenever you give to the poor, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites in the synagogues and in the streets like to do, that they may be [b]recognized and honored and praised by men. Truly I tell you, they have their reward [c]in full already. 3But when you give to charity, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4So that your deeds of charity may be in secret; and your Father Who sees in secret will reward you openly. 5Also when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward [d]in full already. 6But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open. 7And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking. [I Kings 18:25-29.] 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. 9Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. 10Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven ([e]left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have [f]given up resentment against) our debtors. 13And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. 14For if you forgive people their trespasses [their [g]reckless and willful sins, [h]leaving them, letting them go, and [i]giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their [j]reckless and willful sins, [k]leaving them, letting them go, and [l]giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses. 16And whenever you are fasting, do not look gloomy and [m]sour and [n]dreary like the hypocrites, for they put on a dismal countenance, that their fasting may be apparent to and seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward [o]in full already.(A) 17But when you fast, perfume your head and wash your face, 18So that your fasting may not be noticed by men but by your Father, Who sees in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open. 19Do not [p]gather and heap up and store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal. 20But [q]gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal; 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light. 23But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your [r]conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness! 24No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be [s]against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon ([t]deceitful riches, money, possessions, or [u]whatever is trusted in). 25Therefore I tell you, stop being [v]perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? 26Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the [w]span of his life?(B) 28And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and [x]learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin. 29Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his [y]magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.] 30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? 31Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33But seek ([z]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([aa]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [ab]taken together will be given you besides. 34So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. 1DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. 2For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you. 3Why do you [a]stare from without at the [b]very small particle that is in your brother's eye but do not become aware of and consider the beam [c]of timber that is in your own eye? 4Or how can you say to your brother, Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye, when there is the beam [d]of timber in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the tiny particle out of your brother's eye. 6Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces. 7[e]Keep on asking and it will be given you; [f] keep on seeking and you will find; [g]keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. 8For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened. 9Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent? 11If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and [h]advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and [i]advantageous things to those who [j]keep on asking Him! 12So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets. 13Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14But the gate is narrow (contracted [k]by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.(A) 15Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.(B) 16You will [l]fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 17Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [[m]worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit. 18A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear [n]excellent fruit [worthy of admiration]. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. 20Therefore, you will [o]fully know them by their fruits. 21Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].(C) 24So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a [p]sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. 25And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand. 27And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell--and great and complete was the fall of it. 28When Jesus had finished these sayings [the Sermon on the Mount], the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His teaching, 29For He was teaching as One Who had [and was] authority, and not as [did] the scribes.

Philippians 4:4-11 (New American Standard Bible) 4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. God's Provisions 10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.

God the Father,Jesus, Gods People, Mom R.I.P, Frye family ( My family ) Romans 3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans10:4For Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him. 9Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. 11The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. 2 Peter 3:9The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance Revalation20:11Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.12I saw the dead, great and small; they stood before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life.
