Ciarra La'Shay is an 18 year old r&b singer from the eastside of St. Paul, Minnesota.Ciarra came up in a situation where she had to grow up too fast. At the very young age of 2, Ciarra La'Shay's father was murdered in a robbery attempt. Growing up wondering what it would be like with her dad Ciarra found writing music as a way to escape and eventually decided that would be her way to escape from the eastside of St. Paul. However, her unique personality and positive attitude make it hard to tell that she has faced any adversity. Ciarra's music skills are top notch, and her sense of fashion (sway) is unmatched.
Ciarra has been attending the High School for Recording Arts (Studio 4) for the last five years and recently graduated in may 2010. During her years at Studio 4 she has attended many music classes and recorded a few songs. Although it is a hard subject for her to grasp, she is trying to learn how to structure instrumentals and produce music. She also writes song lyrics for friends and other artists who attend Studio 4. She has been able to get exposed by doing shows at Normandale College, The Dinkytowner, Station 4 and The Garage. She was also one of the MTV spotlight artists that got followed and interviewed by MTV while attending Studio 4.
Her dedication puts her potential at 100%. Ciarra wants to be a star no doubt, but with her writing skills and devotion to learning other music elements than just singing may lead to her being a very successful behind the scenes woman in the music business.

Ciarra began writing music and putting songs together at the very young age of 10. Her mom discovered her talent and put her in the studio by the age of 11. With motivation from her favorite singers Aaliyah and Selena, by the age of 12 she decided she would make singing her life and her career.
She remembers "Walk out my life" by Monica as one of the first songs that inspired her. Coming a long way from her tragic childhood, Ciarra is rising and rising fast. Her sway and her dream is all this young lady needs and you will be seeing or hearing about a successful Ciarra La'Shay in the near future.
