Feb 3, 2011Blueskyreality (NEW MUSIC UP NOW!) saysHey all fans, friends and family. I thought I should fill you in on whats going on since its been a while since you've heard from us. We Have broken up. Not to say that we are not all still friends and all pursuing our own musical ventures. But after certain events we thought it best to move on. Thank you all so much for your support. Speaking for everyone we love you all and hope to see you in the future. It was a good run, and we loved meeting you all at the shows and on the road. We are all doing well and still doing music. I am doing a solo project under the name Zak Waters, John is playing for The Nehemiah Band, Nick is playing for various artists and Philip has been writing away and feeling much better to be out of the hospital. Hope to stay in contact with all of you, below you will find our respective twitters, websites etc...

Very Important Updates. Must Read!!! 3/17/10
Greetings,
A few updates. This is a season of change for Blueskyreality, and we have a couple of changes that we would like for you to know.
First, a lot of you know, Philip was in an accident around the end of 2009 and has been hospitalized since. He's recovering well and is now in rehab to get stronger. We all want to thank you for your continued support and prayers. His spirits are high and it makes us and those around him smile.
In the meantime, our good friend Jarrad Kritzstein is filling in for Philip on the bass guitar. Jarrad is a film editor, writer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist (minus the bass drum).In other news, Jake Koops is no longer in the band. We never thought we would ever write one of these statements, but due to creative differences, we felt that it was time for us to part ways. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication he put into these past four years to help us get this far. We wish him the best of luck for his future endeavors.
We are planning a tour for the month of June and will let you know the "when and where" asap.
We are also currently writing new songs as a four piece and it's sounding amazing. Currently we have about 50+ songs that you all haven't heard, and are thinking of ways to get those out to you.

Janurary/Feb UPDATE!!!
Soo hello everyone. It's been quite a while since weve been in contact. Theres been a lot going on lately, hence our lack of video posting/ updates etc... Well...if you didnt already know, our bass player, Philip, has been in the hospital for the past 5 weeks recovering from a pretty brutal car accident. Thats been tough on the band (not to mention him and his family) obvioulsy both mentally and physically. Weve been putting the band stuff aside as much as possible in order to spend more time with him, so sorry for the absensce that some of you may or may not have noticed. Prior to the accident we were working on some new recordings with producer extrordinaire Mathew Wilder. Things were going great and we were hoping for the green light from our label to release and album or at least a new EP. Well that didnt exactly go our way either. Its funny how when it rains it really pours... right now its fucking hailing!!! So in short we are stuck with a bunch of great tracks that nobody will be able to hear!! BUT.. there is a light at the end of this tunnel, regardless of what anybody says we WILL be releasing this material to you guys in some way shape or form. I probably shouldnt be making this a statement for all to read but at this point we have no problem accidently"leaking" our own music..thats really what its come to. I just cant take letting our fans down, its time for some new music! We have plenty of it. I mean we love The Cabin Sessions, but enough's enough already!! We cant do that to you guys anymore!! So...excpect new material soon...seriously this time...more youtube videos...more live videos from the cabin..more everything. And please feel free to express you grievance with us if we fail to do this. In other news philip is doing much better. Eating real food now, which is great. This will enable him to have more energy and get out of the hospital sooner than later. Hes been cracking me up lately, so hes definitely getting back to the old philip. The other day the nurse said to him " Philip, your are perfect, such a handsome young man." he responded with, "you should see my hair in the wind!!" i almost died. So for those of you wondering, thats the short form of whats been going on. Please keep Philip in your prayers and thoughts, and feel free to write to him through our myspace and twitter!-Zak -
