okay, i am aware that it was purely circumstantial, and i dont blame the band, but i would like to express what me and my freind whent through over this concert. we live in Penn Yan, New york, and we bought the tickets in March. Blink is one of our all time favorate bands so we were pumped. now when the day comes, i get confronted by my boss and she gives me an ultimatum, i can go to work or go to the concert and loose my job, so i did what any normal teenager would do, i said "Fuck You" and quit.

So me and my freind went to saratoga, and with shitty directions it took all of 7 hours to get there and when we got there the security guard said Blink wasnt there. I thought he was just busting our balls but sure enough he was right. so we sat there in front of the theater and decide to take our chances at getting a refund and not go to the concert. We were so bummed out that we didnt want to drive all the way home that night. we got some food which i couldnt stand, and then got a hotel room for the night.

The next morning we got breakfast and headed out of town. However on the way out of town, maybe 40 min down the road, the break lines on the car bust. We ride the emergency break back into saratoga and get it to the nearest car place, which cant help us, so we go to the next, and they couldnt help us, and finally we get to a Midas and we give them the car. we went to a diner and got lunch while they worked. They said they would have an estimate in an hour but it ended up taking 2.

we waited in the shop for about 4 hours while they fixed the car and overall we couldnt even leave saratoga untill 6 the night after the concert and got home at around 10. This trip caused me to loose my job, and waist ALL of my money, causting nearly 700 dollars and 2 days of time. for nothing at all. My freind chris got into a near fatal car accident recently in the same car hitting a semi. this could have been his last concert, but he is very lucky to be alive.

we didnt get a refund.

Ok people, you're being fuckin stupid. GET THE FUCK OVER IT. THERE HUMAN. I went to the show, yeah I was bummed out that they didn't play, but it was still an amazing show non the less. And as far as nobody saying anything till the doors opened ... ever hear of a radio ... or the internet??? I heard about it right as i was leaving my house. But I still chose to go and support them anyways. Stop being ass holes and grow the fuck up. How friggin heartless can you be??

I had two VIP tix and SEVEN $85 seats and I'm still more concerned with the guys in Blink than my money. They will make it right for us when they can. And WEEZER was absolutely FANTASTIC! The situation sucks and at first I was in a state of disbelief, but Mark, Tom and especially Travis are going through a life changing event. Screw money. People are more important. I understand guys.

there were no special suprises. dj am ODed. not my fault. why do i have to miss out? and why did you reschedual all the other dates but not SPAC's? tickets were still full price ($37) at the door so we said fuck it. no blink and still full price? no thanks. we'll just go to bombers burittos instead. anywayy i truely am sorry for your loss and hope to see you come around again. if you don't break up again that is...
