" In ages past, our old ones were the storytellers. This was the way things were passed along to the generations that followed. For this reason the aged people made it a point to remember every detail so they could relate it at a later time. They were the word and picture carriers making history and spirtual values alive and important. In recent times we have made our old ones think they are not so important. We spoof their stories and make them feel foolish. The truth is that we are ignorant of what is precious and how to 'a da li he li tse di -- appreciate age. Rigidity can creep in and set even the young mind if there are no soft memories, no laughter, no times too deep for tears.
Age is grace -- a time too valuable to waste."
Tell me
and I'll forget.
Show me,
and I may not remember.
Involve me,
and I'll understand.
Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.
Become aware and take action to help bring peace, harmony and happiness to your fellow humans, yourself and the world in general. . We all live on this planet together - the plants and trees, the ocean and the atmosphere, human beings and all living creatures. We are all part of creation.
The problems we face today can appear too overwhelming for just one person to make any difference, but it is with the individual that changes begin. We can all make a difference, however small our contribution. We can recycle, buy green, petition, lobby governments, volunteer, show kindness to a stranger, or just send love to a friend. There are an infinite number of ways.
Wishing you a perfect weekend my dear friend,
There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be,
....that's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better.
There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,
but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of.
There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.
Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are, So when the days come that are filled with frustration
and unexpected responsibilities,
remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.
( Keep believing in yourself. )
much peace and respect always,

Once an Old Man was traveling, and becoming tired he sat down on a rock to rest. After a while he started to go on, and because the sun was hot he threw his robe over the rock, saying: "Here, I give you my robe, because you are poor and have let me rest on you. Always keep it." He had not gone very far, when it began to rain, and meeting a coyote he said: "Little brother, run back to that rock, and ask him to lend me his robe. We will cover ourselves with it and keep dry." So the coyote ran back to the rock, but returned without the robe. "Where is the robe?" asked Old Man. "Sai-yah!" replied the coyote. "The rock said you gave him the robe, and he was going to keep it." Then Old Man was very angry, and went back to the rock and jerked the robe off it, saying: "I only wanted to borrow this robe until the rain was over, but now that you have acted so mean about it, I will keep it. You don't need a robe anyhow. You have been out in the rain and snow all your life, and it will not hurt you to live so always." With the coyote he went off into a coulee, and sat down. The rain was falling, and they covered themselves with the robe and were very comfortable. Pretty soon they heard a loud noise, and Old Man told the coyote to go up on the hill and see what it was. Soon he came running back, saying, "Run, run, the big rock is coming"; and they both ran away as fast as they could. The coyote tried to crawl into a badger hole, but it was too small for him and he stuck fast, and before he could get out, the rock rolled over him and crushed his hind parts. Old Man was scared, and as he ran he threw off his robe and what clothes he could, so that he might run faster. The rock kept gaining on him all the time. Not far off was a band of buffalo bulls, and Old Man cried out to them, saying, "Oh my brothers, help me, help me. Stop that rock." The bulls ran and tried to stop it, but it crushed their heads. Some deer and antelope tried to help Old Man, but they were killed, too. A lot of rattlesnakes formed themselves into a lariat, and tried to catch it; but those at the noose end were all cut to pieces. The rock was now close to Old Man, so close that it began to hit his heels; and he was about to give up, when he saw a flock of bull bats circling over his head. "Oh my little brothers," he cried, "help me. I am almost dead." Then the bull bats flew down, one after another, against the rock; and every time one of them hit it he chipped off a piece, and at last one hit it fair in the middle and broke it into two pieces. Then Old Man was very glad. He went to where there was a nest of bull bats, and made the young ones' mouths very wide and pinched off their bills, to make them pretty and queer looking. That is the reason they look so today.
may the wolf spirit guide me on my uncertain path
may the wolf spirit lift each paw in sync with mine
may the wolf spirit allow the raven to sit on his back
and carry him the distance needed to go to find relief
may the wolf spirit glide with the owl over land
and may it follow the stream of destiny to where the journey ends
and there i will find my life as i want it to be and the only
sacrifice i must make is releasing the curse lain on me by evil intent
and to shake free of all restraints and stand true and free and alive, unharmed.
may the wolf spirits howls of triumph mingle and blend with my own
and carryon the wind to all corners of this world as whispers of change complete.
Please have a very great Thursday my Dear friend!
peace and respect to you always,
May your heart always know much love and light,
May you always know that no matter what, you always have friends that care deeply, and even though separated by distance, they will still be there for you.
Sincerely,WOLF

UPDATE: August 15, 2012
As of today I’m hearing the alpha female of the Fox Mountain Pack is still free. The concern is are they laying leg hold traps to catch her? This would be a dangerous situation for her pups or other members of the pack. We don’t need any of the wolves sustaining leg injuries. I sincerely hope this is not the case and that a solution is being devised to keep this important breeding female wild.
Calls to Service spokesmen were not returned, but officials have said the wolf is of low genetic value to its species and constitutes a risk to cattle owners.”
That’s the mindset we’re dealing with, pathetic. How about this is a critically endangered wolf mother and CATTLE CONSTITUTE A THREAT TO HER SURVIVAL Get cows out of the wolf
recovery area. Retire grazing leases!
Every Mexican gray wolf is important to the recovery of the species!
I was relieved to hear the kill order on the Fox Mountain alpha female had been rescinded but disturbed she would be separated from her pups and spend the rest of her life in captivity, never to see her family again. This is not acceptable. Without this mother present, the Fox Mountain pack could disband leaving the pups orphaned or worse. It’s not uncommon for this to happen when one of the alphas is lost, either by death or capture. It will put tremendous pressure on the alpha male to keep his growing family fed. Wolves are highly social animals so you can imagine how they will react to the loss of their matriarch.
Please keep the phone calls and emails coming. The important contacts are listed below, provided by WildEarth Guardians.
Tell them to keep this mother wild and remove the cows from the den site vicinity. Grazing leases must be retired in the wolves recovery area to give these animals a fighting chance.Just a few short years ago wild Mexican gray wolf numbers dropped to dangerous levels due to poaching. Their numbers have climbed back up to an anemic fifty plus but still far below the recovery goal that was promised by 2006. Here we are six years later still fighting the same forces that want to stop Mexican gray wolf recovery dead in its tracks. If the pack disbands, the loss will be immeasurable. These wolves are the most endangered animal in North America. Removing a successful breeding female from the wild, over a few cows, is egregious.
FROM WILDEARTH GUARDIANS
Please call the White House, New Mexico Senators Udall and Bingaman, and New Mexico Congressional Representatives Luján and Heinrich now to keep the Fox Mountain mother wolf in the wild,
and demand that cattle be restricted from the pack’s den area.White House (202) 456-1111Senator Tom Udall (202) 224-6621, (505) 988-6511 or (505) 346-6791Senator Jeff Bingaman (202) 224-5521 or 1-800-443-8658Congressman Ben Ray Luján (505) 984-8950 or (202) 225-6190Congressman Martin Heinrich (505) 346-6781 or (202) 225-6316
Please politely tell them:
The Fox Mountain pups need their mother and to be left unmolested in the wild of the Apache National Forest. Like any youngster who loses their mother, those pups will suffer, and the mother will suffer in captivity. Removing members from a pack causes trauma for all the pack’s members, and can even cause packs to disband, studies show.
Fewer than 60 Mexican wolves roam the wild, and the Fox Mountain pack contains one of only six breeding pairs identified. Removing this wolf is biologically harmful and a huge waste of taxpayer money.
The livestock owner has been compensated for his losses.
Livestock owners within the territory of the Fox Mountain pack should immediately either temporarily remove all livestock from the vicinity of the pups’ den, or use electric fencing or herders to manage cattle by day, and barns and corrals to secure the animals at night.
night.http://wg.convio.net/site/MessageViewer?em_id=9201.0
Let’s work to keep this wolf mother wild to raise her puppies, lead her family and continue to contribute to the important recovery of Mexican gray wolves!!
http://youtu.be/De5rhFmAK6o
This video above was taken in the late seventies. It’s believed to be one of the last wild Mexican gray wolves “captured from northern Mexico before the species went extinct in the wild.”

I once saw and heard a wolf, was he howling at the stars; No, I thought that night, he's crying to the man in the moon.He was sad about the death of his mate, caught in a snare; Lost forever to the Spirit world, never more to be seen or heard. The Alpha Male once so proud, now diminished by his loss; Resorts to almost humanlike behavior, by offering up a prayer. The pups she once cared for and fed, whimpered their soft refrain; Were now the responsibility of another, whom he might learn to love. All the others in the pack joined in his song, understanding and sharing; In his mournful and eerie cry, once again pledging their loyalty to him.Natures once proud and abounding breeds, slowly but surely diminished; by a misunderstood and uncaring law, that they were dangerous to one and all. From the crest of that proud vantage point, a wolf prayer was shared; Reminding me and others when all seems lost, we can Cry To The Man In The Moon.
May the Wolf Spirit Grant Us the
Endurance of the Wolf.
Wolf's Faith and Courage
Show Us the Way
To Roam to New Heights.
Wolf's Wisdom Lead Us to
Rely on Wolf's Spirit to Carry Us
Through All of the Earth's Gates.
May the Wolf Howl
Make Us Hear
The Wolf Song,
That Will
Fill Us with Harmony and Guide
Us to Our Destiny
of Awaiting Clouds,
That Whisper Through the Winds,
To Our Wolf's Spirit;
Peace,
That Will Never End.
Wars and bloodshed have taken over the world. It is time we stop talking about humanity and behave humane.
May the unfortunate people who were the victims of terrorism and war rest in peace.
PLEASE HAVE A WONDERFUL TUESDAY,
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SAY A PRAYER FOR THOSE WE HAVE LOST,IN SO MANY PLACES ALL AROUND THE WORLD.
THE WORLD NEEDS TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT ITSELF BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
WHAT IS HUMANITY DOING TO ITSELF?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLDS POPULATION?
THEY ARE INFECTED WITH SO MUCH HATE AND DARKNESS,
THEY HURT AND KILL EACH OTHER,
THEY HURT AND KILL INNOCENT CHILDREN,
THEY HURT AND KILL INNOCENT ANIMALS,
IT SEEMS ANYTHING THAT HAS A GOOD AND INNOCENT SOUL IS TORTURED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
WE NEED TO WAKE UP, AND START LOVING ONE ANOTHER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE,
AND LEARN TO RESPECT AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER AND ALL LIVING THING'S..
THE SHADE OF NIGHT NEEDS TO BE LIFTED,
AND THE LIGHT OF DAY BE LET IN UPON THIS EARTH,
WITH ALL OF IT'S BEAUTY AND GOODNESS.
MUCH PEACE AND RESPECT ALWAYS

The truth about wolves...
is something that many people may not want to hear...
because man is the only reason that wolves don't live in peace.
The truth about wolves...
is that when a wolf kills a sheep, that is grazing in a pasture,
it does it only to survive...
But man sees it has a plague that must be eliminated...
only man is allowed to kill the sheep...
and man does it by the thousands, but not to survive,
only because he can.
The truth about wolves...
is that when wolves fight with other wolves...
only the leaders of the packs fight with each other,
the leaders don't send others to fight their battles,
but mans leaders are cowards who send out others to fight their wars.
The truth about wolves...
is that wolves try and stay as far away from man as possible...
all they want is their own territory, and no more,
but man will not allow them this...
man continues to spread out,
cutting down forests,
building cities in their stead,
and killing wolves as they go.
The truth about wolves...
is that man could learn a lot from them,
if only man would watch.
The truth about wolves...
is that they are superior to man.
If you disagree, answer this...
Who will start wars, that will kill thousands, over some land?
Who will hate someone for how they look, or their beliefs?
Who will kill for no real reason?
Who is never satisfied with what they have?
The truth about wolves...
is though man may think he has more intelligence then them...
wolves live better lives.
The truth is...
that until man can live in peace with wolves...
wolves are superior.
When friends are forced to be apart from each other for whatever length of time, it will be a difficult period for the two of them. They will be forced to go through their normal routines apart from each other. Each one may miss the qualities that the other contributed to the friendship. There is a saying that, "absence makes the heart grow fond". This may be an opportunity for each of them to realize how important each one is to the other's life. They will miss each other, and long for the time when they can be together again.
WISHING YOU A VERY BEAUTIFUL DAY MY DEAR FRIEND,
MAY MANY GREAT THINGS COME TO YOU TODAY!
MUCH PEACE AND RESPECT ALWAYS

The air carried a stillness, a gentle reminder of the wounds which his mate now tended too. The green eyes quietly closing with every loving touch, the wounds of past and past lives forgotten a bout in the quiet folds of the snow and the fading sun. His eyes scanned, almost lost in the moments when she would nurture him back to health, fixating on some unknown quality which evaded every other living soul. In the hunts, she ran with him; a quiet thunder padded out on the soft folds of early snow.In the pack there were only 2, him and his mate. Her beautiful grey coat was bushy, her eyes always locked on him as he left to get food or snarled innocently to avoid confrontation. His black coat was never hard to miss, the imprint of love and faithfulness written all over his smile. As the winter subsided, she could hear his heartbeat , calling out beyond the love they had. In the approaching sun she knew that his time would be coming soon, that the bonds of trust would transcend into heavens shadows and she would be alone. As he kissed and said good bye to her, her tail cowered ,left without a reason to cry as he left one last time. The night called with a warning, the crows melancholy voices screeching of death and shadows...after midnight the wolf came home, his spirit rested and laid beside his mate, unaware of the dream of living which had passed him by.
Strolling in the moons showers
I carry the whispers of ancient powers
Wise, brave and strong am I
only at the moon do I cry
But why do I cry at the moon you ask?
With so little hope for the future, we can only look to the past
Past when the earth was young
When nothing could stop our noble run
When trees and flowers and animals were one
When nothing could kill our future, our young.
That why i cry to the moon
In hope that this struggle for life will end soon.
I am a wolf,
running through the trees.
Following the scents,
on the midnight breeze.I am a wolf,
howling beneath a silver moon.
Hoping that my loyal pack,
will answer back quite soon.I am a wolf,
standing with my beautiful mate.
We must stand strong and brave,
and face any challenges we meet.I am a wolf,
Hunting with my pack.
With the young and the old wolves waiting,
for meat to be brought back.I am a wolf,
withstanding man's fear and hate.
But many have come to love wolves,
and for us that's quite a treat.I am a wolf,
wild, fierce and free.
Living in forests and mountains,
stretching as far as the eye can see.I am a wolf,
I'd never want to be anything more.
And I hope that even after I'm gone,
there will be wolves forevermore.
HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY MY DEAR FRIEND!,
MAY YOU SEE THROUGH THE WOLF'S EYES THIS DAY,
MAY YOU FEEL WHAT HIS HEART FEELS,
MAY YOU SHARE THE GREAT WOLF SPIRIT'S SOUL AND LISTEN TO HIS AGE OLD KNOWLEDGE,
MAY YOU BE BLESSED BY HEARING HIS BEAUTIFUL VOICE,MUSIC AS OLD AS TIME,
MAY YOU FEEL WOLF'S LOVE AND PEACE,
MAY WOLF FOREVER SURROUND YOU WITH ALL HIS BEAUTY AND GUIDE YOU ALWAYS DOWN THE RIGHT PATH,NEVER LEAVING YOUR SIDE.
Blessed be, tis the moon I see. Oh beautiful one, thank you for guiding me. Raise my awareness and open my mind, I am now ready to see the truly divine. No limit does my heart follow, no turning my back and seeing as hallow. Oh bless me moon for I was
